Perth – Western Australia

With its warm climate, friendly residents and relaxed lifestyle, Perth isn’t just a great place to study, it’s also a great place to live.

Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, with a population of almost 2 million people, and is famous for being the most isolated city in the world. Completely surrounded by Australian nature: the Indian Ocean on one side and the Australian outback on the other. It is widely regarded as the “Education City” of Australia, and students who study in Perth know that they are receiving the very best education that Australia can offer. What else does Perth have to offer international students?

Public Transport

Perth’s public transport system is divided into travel zones and is designed to be easy to use for everyone visiting our city. We have a safe, modern network of buses, trains and ferries, which is always under expansion to meet the needs of our growing city.

You can use any combination of these three services on one ticket. Travel fares are valid for up to three hours and are determined by the number of zones you travel through during your journey.

Climate

Perth has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. It is the sunniest capital city in Australia with clear blue skies an incredible 70% of the year! Our warm weather and clean air allow us to enjoy a year-round outdoor lifestyle and we make the most of our state’s natural beauty.

Studying in Perth lets you take advantage of our sunny climate while earning a qualification for your future. Your weekends and holidays can be spent enjoying the outdoors at barbecues with friends or swimming in the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean, or even stand-up paddle boarding on the Swan River
